Shaws Cove 5/17/25

Found a party of nudis under this rock
Opalescent Nudibranch, Hermissenda opalescens, Ridge-tailed Dorid, Diaphorodoris lirulatocauda, Spotted Dorid, Triopha maculata

Nudibranch, Olives Aeolid, aeolidiella oliviae

Got excited that I found a new nudi species that I haven't seen before. Turns out it's a dirona picta. Nice coloring on this one, the one's I've seen before are all brownish
Colorful Dirona, Dirona picta, Nudibranch

Another angle of the dirona picta

Thought this one was a red-headed aeolid. Nope, just one of the billion three-lined aeolids that scatter the reef
Nudibranch, Three-lined Aeolid, Coryphella cf. trilineata

Couldn't tell what this was originally. It is, of course, just another three-lined aeolid

A rare find at Shaws! A very orange noble dorid. What is up with so many nudi species at Shaws having a deep orange or brownish tint to them?
