Foss 125 Wreck

Went out to look for the Foss 125 Wreck aka "Cleo Street Barge". As the name implies, it's just off of Cleo Street Beach in Laguna and it sits in about 45ft of water. I lined up with the second house to the right of the stairs (facing the stairs) but dropped in a little too early at about 30ft. Since I was on my scooter I just decided to stay and ride down to the proper depth. From there I zippered back and forth southwards between the depths of 40 to 50 feet. Realized I must have just missed it at the beginning so I worked my way northwards until I found it.

The wreck was way bigger than I expected. There isn't a lot of the original boat left, but it spans quite a large area. There was definitely a lot more fish around this wreck than there was in the surrounding reefs. Mostly the usual fish like the garibaldi and sheephead, but I did see a handful of white sea bass! Always a welcome sight. Overall though, this was definitely a fun adventure to navigate and find the wreck, there isn't much other reason to dive this over Shaws or any of the other good reefs in Laguna.
